Day 14: A Kick of Hope

My Walk of Hope on Sunday afternoon truly became a walk of hope for the community and the 250 people that gathered at the Masonic Temple in support of Kurt Kostenbader's fight against a rare form of blood cancer.

When I arrived, Hope had already entered the building. Everyone brought it; I may have had my alb and shepherd's stick in hand, but that promise of tomorrow had already arrived ahead of me. Sometimes you don't have to travel very far from home to find the excitement and anticipation of the future. Even Kurt and Diane were moved to dance!

The next walk will be on Thursday, December 10 at 3 pm.
